Hi to all loyal fans out there!
The last entry I made here is almost 1 year old by now.
The reason for that long break is a truly stressful year
I had to handle. But the good news is that I'm now
finally finished with school after 12 years.
I haven't forgot about the site and all the people
that were or are still involved in helping me with
this project. Since the official website of the game
may never return, we became the most valuable
site that is dedicated to this PC game in the past
3,5 years. I'm still checking the site regularly
and sometimes I'm surprised how much fans
are still out there. It is a real shame we may
never be able to play a sequel.
I'd also want to thank members of the RP
production team for their kind comments
on our site. They wer also pretty surprised
to see a fansite growing even after 2010. ^^
Now that we are in the middle of 2013 you
don't need to fear we'll stop working on this
successful fan project. New ideas are in the
works to get published towards the end of
the year when Railroad Pioneer reaches its
10th birthday. Of course we gotta celebrate
that a little with special new features.
See y'all for the next exiting news.

Good day to all followers!
Just wanted to keep you updated, cuz I havn't added
new content to the site the past months.
I basically did some advertising on forums & shops
dealing with Railroad Pioneer for the site, so we got a few new members.
At the moment I don't play RP but I plan to get the rest of the medals
to get all 30 and finaly become a veteran of this game ^^
Also keep an eye on the site in 2013 as the game
will be 10 years old then already & of course
we gotta celebrate that
Another sign that there are still fans of RP is
the project of an Austrian fella on YouTube.
He's doing a full length Let's Play of the campaign.
Of course only German speaking companions
understand what he's talking about
but I simply wanted to share the game footage for all of you.
The latest of his RP videos is this one:
That's it for now,
Good bye all RP fans!

Good evening all you followers!
It's about half past midnight (:D)here in Germany.
I hope I'm still good at writing english atm, after such a party
to start the weekend.
There are some good news regarding to the JoWood forum.
It's back up under the new name of the company.
The publisher is now called nordic games.
The english RP forum can be found here:
The official RP website is still not online.
Let's hope it'll be back some time.

Hello dear community!
I just wanted to give a short update about the site and
Railroad Pioneer in general.
I'm deeply sorry that there isn't that much new stuff on the site already!
I know I said I wanted to add some information & maybe a new design.
The thing is that some things didn't worked when I was trying to
do something new by adding some codes to the site, so I was a bit frustraded
at first & stopped working then about 3 weeks ago.
There was also another idea that came up in my mind.
I knew that Chris Noeth, the art designer for RP, is still
pretty active on the net & I wanted to ask him if there is
still some art from the making of the game or maybe screenshots
that he saved on disks or even his computer that we could use in our gallery.
He was surprised when I told him about our site but
sadly he doesn't have any graphics or works from back then anymore.
I later saw that he made a comment on a blog entry:
The last thing is that the homepage of Railroad Pioneer
is still not available, as well as the JoWood forums.
I hope these two sites will once turn back.

Hey guys/girls & members. ^^
The last two weeks have been terrible a bit.
My internet didn't work for some reason all the time...
Now the problem is solved and I'm back.
My new project is to get all 30 medals in the campaign mode
of RP. I once heard that there's a special surprise you get
when you have all of them.
-- See ya!

It's the 01.01.2012.
On new years day 2010, me and JM started
our Railroad Pioneer fansite,
after mailing each other on YouTube.
We quiet spent some time editing and
updating the site since then.
Although I weren't active all the time,
JM and Basss always did a great job as
moderators and I'm glad they're still
supporting the site.
Another thing that turned out pretty great
is the amount of members (69 at the moment)
and the response from visitors (2767 Klicks).
There are also some sad news...
the official website of Railroad Pioneer
was taken down a few weeks ago
because the publisher JoWood is going out of buisness
as the firm was bought by another company
after financial problems.
The sites are getting updated
and hopefully the Railroad Pioneer website
will also return.
I hope our site is still online in another 2 years,
as well as some members,
even if we'll not find that much time
to play RP.
Well, that's it for now...

I'm not that active at the moment.
But I'll give you a little promise.
On January the 1st of 2012 the fansite
exists for already 2 years!
I'll think of a special event to celebrate that.
But I'm not sure how that's gonna look like at the moment.

I made a little break for 1 or 2 months now.
Just visited the site again & wanted to share that I might get more active
the next couple of months.
A big thanks also to the moderators of the fansite
JM & Basss!
Both are still active users after more than 18 months.
I can promise we'll have a special event
or change of the site on the 2nd birthday of it
That's January the 1st in 2012.

Today I'm proudly anouncing version 1.2 of the site!
It's been a while since I changed anything, but V.1.2 is a little patch
that improves quite some things, especially for the members that waited
a long time for new stuff.
1. First thing is the new colour of the whole template.
The template stays the same, but I thought brown fits better to the theme
of the fansite and of course the wild-west look of Railroad Pioneer.
2. Then we also have a new banner with a different screenshot.
3. The navigation bar now has a new font.
The font is called "Balthazar" by the way!
I used it for a couple of artworks before and it looked great
in the nav bar.
4. The sidebar now also has a new category for important
and short news. If you want to stay updated about the site you
can simply read them.
5. Because of spam and advertisements for some medical products
in the forum, unregistered members from now on only have access
to the off-topic forum.
All other forums can only be used by registered members.
6. Because of spam in the comment section of the photo gallery,
the downloadlinks for pictures are disabled for a few weeks.
Just tell me what you think about this changes in a comment below
or write a message to me.

I'm sorry for being busy about one year now
I just visited the site again and it's awesome to see we already have 35 members!
THANK YOU ALL!
I know there are some hardcore fans that joined the site
so I'm deffinetly going to add some new stuff and maybe change some things
the next weeks and months!
It's amazing that a game like Railroad Pioneer still has alot of fans
even though it was released in 2003 and we now have 2011.
It's actually sad there's no second part of this game and there's not much
chance another part will be released.
Well, I hope we'll meet soon here on our fansite!
